I live in Roseburg, Oregon and have been a knifemaker for approx. 9 years on a part-time basis. I am an electrician for one of the last remaining wood mills in Southern Oregon. I take pride in my knives and am a stickler for detail. You can be assured of a high quality knife that can be handed-down or presented to family members and friends.
Other than stainless steels, my knives are hand forged of 52100 bearing steel, 5160 spring steel, and Damascus steel made by myself or another member of the American Bladesmith Society.
Special thanks to the late Master Bladesmith AL BARTON, for his assistance and help in knife forging, and advising me to join The American Bladesmith Society. The American Bladesmith Society maintains the old art and techniques of hand forging of knives by way of apprenticeship and testing. Each knife is checked for fit, finish, and symetry. Each knife is hand hardened and tempered for the best edge holding qualities...
